my one year old nephew always amazed me. never looks tired, always bouncing about, playing, doing things he's not supposed to do (i.e: rummaging the trash bin, playing with the water dispenser or any objects laying about, climbing the coffee table and expect us to catch him when he jumps down). sometimes it takes hours to make him sleep. other times, he fiercely fight off his sleepiness by running around the house and make his grandparents dizzy. if i have all his energy, how many projects can i handle? how many work gets done? how many jobs i can hold?
and how fast he learns things!!!! always adding words to his vocabulary. i always warn chubbs not to swear in front of him, just in case. its so hilarious whenever i taught him things to bother chubbs. and also endearing because chubbs loves to be bugged by him. hehehehe..... yesterday, i taught him to pat chubbs bum and give a 'POK' sound effect to it. i had blast seeing his happy face and chubbs annoyed-but-cant-help-it-because-its-also-funny face. the classic is asking him to find chubbs's belly button then he will excitedly lift chubbs shirt and point to chubbs big belly.
he remembers songs too!!!! he remembers all the song his mum and i used to sing when he's just a baby. i remember teaching him this very silly song about tagoning waaay before he learns to talk, and he remembers it. his mum used to hate that song because its so goofy. but now she's really amused when his son sing it with me. his mum always warns me not to teach him silly things because she knows how mischievious i can be to my little nephews. heh heh heh
every day i cant wait to come home and play with him....
this is bubu + me singing silly tagoning song:
abdi rombo? ngan
tago? ning
ti olohe? jooooo
bade minton? keun
rupi-rupi kaseni? aaaannnn
itallic=me bold=bubu happily answers the song
hm, might sound not funny, but anyone who play a lot with their nephews or parents with babies would understand how i feel. ;P
