note to management

"With the rise of SYSTEMS THINKING, some managers also began to think of the employee as a BUSINESS PARTNER. Management -and the company as a whole- is dependent on its subordinates and employees, just as the employees depend on managent and the company. .... A business partner contributes to the organization's overall success and does not ask for immediate compensation or rewards for each single behavior. Rather, ENTREPRENEURSHIP and THE JOY OF MAKING REAL CONTRIBUTIONS can be major motives for high performance." (Borg & Mastrangelo, 2008, p. 22, emphasis added)

i guess being an expert of one does not necessarily means know how or willing to apply it in daily life.
